You certainly have struck gold with this post. As a coach, I like to call that spot that you mention the ‘sweet spot’ of success. It’s that moment when the chips are down and things are looking as bleak as they could be.

In terms of weight loss, that could be the moment when the cravings have gotten their grip on you and you’re just about to run to the cabinets for something to satisfy that urge or maybe the binge is behind you and you’re thinking, Why not continue?

That turning point moment surfaces when we’re feeling completely overwhelmed and afraid of never reaching our goals.

In NLP, there is a presupposition that states that it’s feedback not failure. That means that many people have a shorter time line for success. If you consider that you have all the time that you need to achieve your goal, you will do it.
