As a team they’ve laughed
And cried together
When skies were sunny
Through stormy weather.
The man and his guitar.
Bringing joy and laughter
To a saddened world.
Serenades of love to
A beautiful girl.
The man and his guitar.
Sonnets of tenderness
This pair does impart
Melodies of lovers
Who ne’er shall part.
The man and his guitar.
Strumming notes of joy
Soft strings of sorrow
Lyrical fantasies and
Dreams of tomorrow.
The man and his guitar.
Performing together
’til the end of time
Their music brings life
To a level sublime.

Inseparable they are

Almighty Creator, I thank you
For the majesty of the night
For the stars and all the galaxies
For the moon that gives me light
Awed by the power of the thunder
At the awakening of a storm
Calmed by the sun on a summer’s noon
You gave creation for it’s warmth
Heavenly Designer I sing praises
For the green grass I lie upon
Of your majesty speaks the mountains
Endless oceans that astound
Sensual fragrance of your roses
Shimmering diamonds of the dew
Creation’s Father I’m enraptured
‘Neath your heavenly sky of blue
You’ve sent the breezes to caress me,
Complete and gentle is your love
Joy is felt within your garden
Showered blessings from above
Creator of the Universe
Abundant goodness you impart
You’ve given life that’s filled with wonder
I give to you a thankful heart
